Ordering

Gifthome provides a convenient way to shop that is very easy to use. This guide will help walk you through the basics of our gift store that's always open. 

Finding a Product:

1. Categories: Click on a category on the left hand side or the top menu bar of the Website. For example if you select "LIVING", all the products that are available in that category will be displayed. For ease of convenience, you also can select the sub-category under each main category. 

2. Keyword search: Use the keyword search function on top of the home page to browse our products or explore a particular item. For example if you are looking for an alarm clock, enter "alarm clock" in the search field and a list of available items in that category will be displayed. Select the particular item and further information about the product will be presented. 

View a Product: Whenever you view products in one of the categories, a selection of merchandise will appear on the site. This includes an image of the product and price. You may select an option to add the item to your shopping cart or view the product in greater detail. If you select this feature to view the product, the image of the product will be enlarged and further information about the product features will be provided. 

Purchase a Product 

Adding Items: Clicking the "Add to Cart" button adds the selected item to your electronic Shopping Cart and takes you to the "Shopping Cart Summary" screen. 

Shopping Cart Summary: The "Shopping Cart Summary" screen displays all items that you have added during your online shopping session.  

Removing Items: You can remove items from "Shopping Cart" simply clicking the "Delete" button for that item. 

Increasing Quantities: If you would like to order more than one of an item which is currently in your Shopping Cart, simply enter the new quantity amount into the quantity input box and then click the "Update" button. Your Shopping Cart will refresh, the quantities will be updated and your order total will be adjusted accordingly. 

Proceeding to the Checkout: If you have finished shopping and are happy with the items and quantities in your Shopping Cart you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on the “Checkout” button.          

1. Confirm your Delivery Address: If the delivery address is incorrect or if you are sending the parcel as a gift, you can change the delivery address by clicking on the “Update Address” button. Please note that this will only change the delivery address for the current order.    

2. Select your payment method:   PayPal  If you wish to use this option, select PayPal as your method of payment.  Once you have confirmed your order with us, you  will be presented with the PayPal login screen. If you have previously registered with PayPal, enter your email address and password and you will be logged in for immediate payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, click on the option stating that you do not have an account. You will then need to confirm your address and enter your credit card details. PayPal will automatically notify us that you have made payment and we will dispatch your order immediately. 

Bank Transfer By choosing this method you are electing to make a payment direct into our Australia bank account.  At the end of the checkout process you will be presented with our bank account details.  They will also be sent to you direct by email with your final invoice as a reminder of payment.  You are then required to make a payment direct into our bank account, stating your invoice number (if possible) to enable us to match your payment with your order.  As soon as we receive the payment into our account then we will dispatch your order. 

3. Verify your order details and place your order: Please ensure that you verify your delivery address, your payment details and the items before continuing. Once you are happy that all the details are correct, the click the "Confirm Order" button to summit your order to Gifthome. 

4. Order placement confirmation: Once your order has been submitted to Gifthome, a confirmation page will be displayed advising that your order has successfully been received. An automated order confirmation and tax invoice will immediately be emailed to you for your record.
